ROLLIN’ ON THE RIVER
The nine-hour boat ride from Siem Reap to Battambang, Cambodia, takes you through so many riverside villages. I got horribly sick the morning of this trip (why is it that sickness always strikes at the WORST possible time?), but the scenery was great nonetheless. We saw a little slice of life along the river: people fishing with enormous nets, hauling things between houses and businesses, and just hanging out watching the boats go by.

Being ill like that is the worst, especially in an ‘inconvenient’ place – keep the electrolites up and rest if you can but the photos look great.
Ugh, it wasn’t fun…but happens to everyone at some point I suppose!
Being sick while travelling is the worst. Hope it was just a quick bug. Love this series of shots – particularly the last kid. I suspect he is the head of the establishment

Thanks! I got better pretty fast (of COURSE I was only sick for the nine hours on the boat!). I think you’re right – that kid was probably the boss, and a tough one at that!
