ON THE STREET IN DELHI
Delhi is the most chaotic place I’ve ever visited. There’s so much going on it’s hard to know what to look at! I loved seeing detail amidst utter chaos – strings of marigolds decorating a gas station, a horse’s ankles rubbed with henna powder. Delhi is absolutely enormous, so we spent a ton of time in the car…most of which I spent squished up against the window with my camera, trying my best to capture the combination of delightful, filthy, gorgeous, ugly and (of course) busy as we zipped through the city at top speed. I love street scenes because I think they give the best sense of place – an idea of what life looks like day to day.

- We were told this water would kill us…
- Taking a break
- Street food
- Decorations where you’d least expect
- Horse with decorated ankles
- A ride in an open-back truck
- Further out in the country
- On the outskirts of Delhi
- Spotted on the way to the Taj Mahal
- Like a boss
- Sign on the back of a truck
